Cookie Snitcher

Made for Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2 in one week.

Story

You like cookies... maybe a bit too much. You're the only employee at a not so popular company where the only other person is your boss, Gilbert. Gilbert likes cookies even more than you, so he keeps a jar filled with them in the office's kitchen.

Goal

Your job is to complete enough tasks before the day ends, otherwise you're fired. On the other hand, since you like cookies so much, you can also try to take as many from the jar as you can without your boss noticing as he's walking around the office. Because once he's noticed... well... let's just hope that doesn't happen.

If you need help regarding the tasks and the office layout, use the M and T keys to toggle the map and the task descriptions.

• Walk: WASD / Arrow keys
• Run: Left shift / Right shift
• Grab items: Left click
• Place items: Right click
• Throw items: F key / PageDown key
• Interact: E key / End key
• Toggle map: M key
• Toggle task descriptions: T key / . key
• Cancel: Escape key / Backspace key
